Market Day 2!!!!

Wednesday 25th September 2019
Walt: Write a recount

On Wednesday the 25th of September 2019 there was a market day at Wesley primary school at the hall and all of the students at Wesley primary school came. My group members are Te airi, Aaliyah, Florence, Eli, Isabel and Sofaia (CEO).

First, Miss Bound took Pila and Noah and Alex to the hall to set up for market day and then Miss Bound asked Pila to get my group so that we could set up our stalls so we grabbed all of our things that we needed and we ran to the hall. when we got to the hall we put the slime in color rows and put some on the other side. Then we put the money box in the middle of the table. and after we set up our stalls we went to Noah and Pila to exchange our money to Wesley token money.

Next, my group went to the hall to get everything ready so that people could buy our slime. when we got their classes were coming and little kids came and brought slime and Te Airi's family came 3 slimes for their little son and they gave up $6.00. After that, I asked Te airi if I could go around to see what I would want to buy and she said "yeah but could you hurry cause I want to go get me somethings to" and then I went to Sophie's and brought 2 lolly jars.

Then, Mrs Martin told everyone to sit down so that she could say some words to use and to also do the raffle draw. Mrs Martin asked Miss Bound if she could pick 2 winners out of the box and Miss Bound did and she picked Rita (Princeton mom) and Minerva's mum. at the end of the raffle draw, john's group had some drinks leftover and some were already sold out.

Finally in conclusion, at the end I had to count the money and I kind of lost count and I gave the bag to Miss Bound and I achieve my goal because my goal was to sell all of the slime and to make a profit and we did. I would change nothing in my group. and also my group made $116 on the market day. I had a lot of fun at the market day.

Walt: write A recount

I wonder if my group is going to make any money at market day? My product is slime and they each cost $2.00 per container or a cup. My group members are Te airi, Isabel, Eli, Florence, and Sofaia(CEO). 

First, we needed to sort out what things we were going to buy. and then we had to each go and buy some slime and me and Florence each spent $6.50.

Next, we had to make some slime and we had to use glue, shaving foam, borax and food coloring and then we had to mix so that it is not sticky. 

Then, I and Teairra had to go around the classrooms and we went to Rm3 first and when we walked in there we were telling them about our slime and we got them to vote and then 17 voted for me and 4 voted for Te airi.

inconclusion, I think we will sell 70 slime. I think we will make $100 because kids might buy heaps of slime. my goal is to sell all of our slime and to make more profit. I think that little kids will buy our product. I cannot wait for market day.

SWIMMING

Hi, bloggers so today we went to the swimming pools at new windsor. So today we learned how to swim with our boards in our front side and then we had to turn to our backside and then after that we were doing some floats on our front side for 5 seconds and we also did the same on our backside. Then at the end we had a race to see who was the fastest. And also I was on lane 3 and we will be doing it for 2 weeks I think. Hope you guys enjoyed reading what I have been doing at swimming.

Reading and Understanding Advertising

Living the dream

Hi, bloggers so today I will be showing you guys my favorite work I have done for the past week. so I wrote about Maria née tuta'ia because she is an inspiration and she always persists when she plays netball and when she shoots. And I also wrote about her because she is an amazing captain and she always encourages her teammates. So hope you enjoy what I have done.

Motat

Hi, bloggers so today I will be telling you guys what we done at Motat.

First, we had to sit in our groups that our teachers put us in. I was in group 2 in Rick's group (Noah dad). then we had to walk to the bus in our classroom line and then we had to sit with 3 people in a seat. Then we drove to Motat and we got out of the bus and we had to find our adult and our group. 

Next, we had to line up and wait next to the gate because there was another school there. After the other school got spoken to by Katherine. Next Katherine brought us into a small little red room next to the telephone place and the fire station. Then Katherine was speaking to us about Motat and where the toilets were and the safety rules and one of the rules were to walk and not run. and we had a little of our morning tea. 

After I and my group went to explore Motat. We went to the park and had a little bit of a play and a relaxing time to yourself. Then Rick (Noah dad) said to us "if we wanted to go to the pump house" then we said "yes" and we all went to the pump house and it was really fun because there were lots of cars and it told us a lot of thing about what cars had done and what it was really like.

Afterwards, Then we had a scavenger hunt. First, we went to the fire station to look for handles bars and we had to find one or two telephones. Then we went to the old village and we went into the houses and we had to find items and two of the items we had to find was a doll and eggs. After we found the items we went to explore the old prison and we look in the prison and we saw a creepy scary looking dude and we looked at the big and small handcuffs and old keys. Then we went to the trampoline to play a little game with these two beautiful ladies. The game we were playing was jumping on the alien.

Finally, we went to the educator room. Then we went back tot he little red room to eat lunch and after we eat lunch we had a little play around before we had to catch the tram ride. After we were exploring the last room we went through a shop and we hoped in the tram and we went on a little ride. After we hopped on the tram we were riding then we stopped because the other team had problems. Then we went to the other side of Motat. Then we got back to the other Motat. Then we had gone to the game room for a little play around but then we wanted to go to the trampoline but it was too full so Me,Richard,Isabel,Pila and Rick went to a relaxing room and we were playing tag then I was running and I fell down and I was laughing and then Rick told us that we had to go know.

I felt really happy/sad because i have already been their and i was happy because it was so fun and their was a game room. I was as happy as a monkey climbing trees and eating banana.
